Acupuncture Initial Assessment
Welcome! This initial visit will be the starting point for acupuncture care. Your acupuncturist will take the time to go over your detailed health history and set treatment goals. The intake will include Traditional Chinese Medicine pulse and tongue diagnoses as well as a full private room acupuncture session with adjunct therapies as needed.
Deep Tissue concentrates on the deep layers of muscle and fascia in the body. Deep Tissue Massage uses focused pressure strokes to assess and treat soft tissue dysfunction. The term ‘deep tissue’ encompasses different styles of massage and manual therapy. This can include, Myofascial Release, Trigger point/NMT, Active and Passive Stretching or Cupping. The penetrating pressure of deep tissue massage can help release areas of chronic contraction. This, in turn, helps muscles relax and lengthen. The effects of deep tissue massage can help muscles heal after an injury, relieve pain and improve posture.
Clinical Massage targets specific injuries for soft tissue rehabilitation using evidence-based treatment plans. Therapy focuses on pain management, functional movement, posture, improved range of motion, and scar tissue mobilization.
Acupuncture Private Room
Follow up and returning acupuncture treatments are designed with your continued care in mind. This massage eases stress and tension, while lifting the spirit and balancing the energy.

This "express" treatment is ideal for follow up sessions or when multiple sessions a week are recommended. Please Wear loose clothing that can be rolled up to the knees and elbows or bring comfortable clothes to change into.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a massage technique that stimulates the lymphatic flow and helps transport the lymph from swollen areas to non swollen areas/lymph collectors. That way your body can naturally process the fluid and provide relief. This is done using a gentle rhythmic motion on dry skin. This technique can be used on all stages of lymphedema.
